Welcome to Rayleigh Primary School.

Applications for admissions for Reception classes are to be made to the Local Authority Essex County Council. 

Applications will open on the Essex County Council website between 10th November 2025  and 15th January 2026.

In- year admissions

If you require to change your child/rens school during the academic year then
applications can be made via our Trust who process these applications. Please visit the Schools for Every Child website to complete an online form.

School Tours

We welcome families to tour our wonderful school. To make an appointment to visit please contact the school office- schooloffice@rayleighprimary.org.uk or 01268 775712.

In the Autumn Term, school visits usually involve more than one family touring together. During the Spring and Summer terms, we are happy to make individual appointments throughout the week.

Nursery applications

We pride ourselves on our Outstanding Nursery Provision that is run by a qualified teacher. We have two classes Butterflies (2-3years) and Dragonflies (3-4years).

Admissions to the school Nursery are handled through the school by Mrs Saunders in the school office. Please email schooloffice@rayleighprimary.org.uk.
