Children

Welcome to our space. On this page we will show you some of the things that we get up to in school.

Tales of Robin Hood

During September our English work was all based on reading, playing, telling and writing stories about Robin Hood. We had a Robin Hood day, where we were able to dress up as a character from the stories. We learnt about weapons and armour especially bows and arrows. Then we got to play in the wood at the bottom of the quiet area. We had to sneak up on the Sherrif of Nottingham. We also were able to sword fight and shoot bows and arrows. It wasn't all playing though as throughout we had to think about words and phrases to describe the action so we could use them in our writing. Here ares ome pictures taken on the day, see if you can spot a Robin, Little John or a Maid Marian.

Film Making

Throughout our time in Year Four we are going to make a number of films. Some will be animated, some will be live action. We are going to use a variety of ICT skills and software to make them, including; Photostory, Digi-blu, Teepee Animator and Windows Movie Maker. We will learn about making films, and editing them. Click on the link below to see some of our film making work.
