Trips

We will be visiting Stansted Mountfichet castle on Monday 5th October 2009.

This term some of our English work will be writing stories with a historical theme. We usually read and write stories about Robin Hood. although mountfichett castle is a motte and Bailey castle which is a little before the most probable time for Robin Hood, the castle and the Norman village should give our children a real idea about the kind of place their stories might have taken place in. we should be able to get lots of photos to use with our writing. And this trip will provide a good place to start when it comes to the research project the children will be doing this term

See the homework page for details.
