Welcome to the Year Four Homework page. Here we will publish details of longer pieces of homework and maybe display some of the best pieces of homework . During the year the children in Year Four carry out three research projects one in each term.

THE COOLEST ENGLISH HOMEWORK EVER
Each week we will be setting spellings for children to practise. This will look slightly different in 4TE & 4CS, but will work in the same way. Children will get spellings on a Monday, do at least one activity in school with them during the week and be tested on a Friday. we hope that you can support your child by practising at home. Little and Often is the key.
We expect the children to be reading their reading books most evenings, either by themselves or, preferably with you. For more able readers it is important to spend as much time talking about what has been read as actually reading.
