| Film Making
In Year Four we believe that making a film provides us with many opportunities; when making a film we can bring together a wide range of skills, we can demonstrate what we have learnt, we can use the film as a stimulus for further work and we can celebrate our achievements and share them with anybody we choose.
On this page we will share with you some of the films we make during the year. Not everyone gets to make every film, there just isn't time, but by the end of the year we will all have been involved in anumber of different film projects. Some of these films will be live action, others will be animated and others will be films made from still images using Photostory. We hope you enjoy our films. At the end of the year we will all get our own copies on DVD to keep.
Animal Madness
On the 3rd October we had a dressing up day in school to take part in World Animal Day. By the time everybody was dressed up as dogs, cats, penguins and giraffes it was pretty tricky to do a PE lesson but we had a go.
(Note: this is a pretty big file, 17.5 megs and may take a while to download)

Robin Hood & the treasure chest
On Robin Hood day some of us had the opportunity to make a short film so we could create some ideas for our story writing. It was filmed in the Quiet Area. We made up the story and all the lines. We learnt that it is a difficult process making a short film. But that has not put us off. We hope you enjoy it.
(Note that to make it possible to put this on the web we have had to reduce the quality of the film to reduce the size of the file)

Here is a selection of the sword fights from our Robin Hood day. We had to watch other children so we could generate exciting words for our writing.
