Film Making
In Year Four we believe that making a film provides us with many opportunities; when making a film we can bring together a wide range of skills, we can demonstrate what we have learnt, we can use the film as a stimulus for further work and we can celebrate our achievements and share them with anybody we choose.
On this page we will share with you some of the films we make during the year. Not everyone gets to make every film, there just isn't time, but by the end of the year we will all have been involved in anumber of different film projects. Some of these films will be live action, others will be animated and others will be films made from still images using Photostory. We hope you enjoy our films. At the end of the year we will all get our own copies on DVD to keep.
Oh yes and watch this space for something extra special in the Spring Term
Robin Hood to the rescue.
This film was made on the afternoon of our Robin Hood day. It was made with children from both Year Four classes, Mr E filmed this film and we made up most of the story and dialogue as we went on. It was great fun and we used this film for written work in class and as the basis for our Shadow plays in science.

Robin Hood to the rescue. The Shadow Versions
Our Shadow plays were all based on Robin Hood to the Rescue, but we used the Disney characters for Robin Hood as they would make easier to identify shapes. We worked very hard on our plays and we discovered that we needed to develop all sorts of skills especially the ability to work together and to analyse our work to make improvements. We were delighted with the results which you can see below. Each picture will take you to a different film
