To achieve these aspirations in a practical sense, we recognise ‘Creativity’ is more that art but it has obviousand bound links with the ‘Arts’. Thus, at Rayleigh we have created Creativity Modules that focus on the Arts. These include a performance which is a key entitlement for children in creativity that allows us to infuse wider learning into the curriculum. Furthermore, we stress the role of talk in exploring and challenging ideas to produce a unique outcome. It is the habits of mind we seek to develop, imagination, originality, self-expression and possibility thinking.
