By Jazzy Journalists!

It’s the second day of Tudor week. More classes have been continuing their efforts to please the king, including …

Year 6 have been organising a play a.k.a mama’s performance (Merlin). As well as: making costumes e.g. masks; juggling; inventing jokes; looking at bows, arrows and swords. Also they have been creating Tudor homes to make a town.

Today year 4 were weaving wooden Tudor scoobies and did a timeline of Henry the VIII and his wives. They practised being in war by learning how to use Tudor weapons. Becky in year four said’ my favourite thing so far was learning about Henrys’ wives.’Not only did year four learn about his wives they also learnt that playing music was one of his hobbies and looked at his appearance.

War, flags and the Tudor rose were some of the things that year two had learnt today. They also found out how the rich Tudors were greeted by flags and banners. They found out how Henry the VIII became King after his father. Jessica in year two said ‘I’ve been enjoying learning about the Tudors and as well as looking forward to Friday’.
