Rayleigh Primary school has been hard at work, sorting out a particular presentation, for each class...

A few classes have been working on: poems; dances; pictures as well as models. Year 1’s were hard at work, playing with Tudor toys, also created a brilliant poem: King Henry was a great man, he wears a coat of red, and he is a fine musician with a gold crown on his head. Nicole and Honnie, (aged 5 and 6) say they are looking forward to dressing up also meeting King Henry. Going back to fun and games, Emily as well as Lennie, (aged 6) said 5 stone and marbles were their favourite game. A majority of the class looked forward to speaking Tudor –old English-.

Not only were year 1’s workings on Tudor’s, the year fives were also hard at work. They were practicing there weaving skills, by creating there very own purses (with their very own designs). Later on this busy week, the year fives will be making the finest bread, all by hand!  Not to mention looking at authentic, as well as realistic Tudor clothing, for Friday! Oliver –from year 5- was looking forward to their amazing dance.

Hope your looking forward to the next issue
